Yes, you can have both POE (Power Over Ethernet) and 12V DC power plugged in to the camera.   12VDC power will take priority over POE power.  

NOTE - If you unplug the 12VDC power from the camera, it will start pulling power via POE if the ethernet cable is still attached.
